Our Story

NAQSH was born from a connection between two Palestinian traditions.

For over 1,000 years, Nablus has been home to one of the oldest soap-making traditions in the world — a craft built around olive oil, simplicity, and generations of knowledge.

At the same time, Dabke has remained a symbol of Palestinian identity — a traditional dance that brings people together through movement, rhythm, and community.

The name NAQSH represents this spirit: preserving culture, celebrating heritage, and carrying Palestinian stories into the modern world.

This project was created to support the NAQSH Dabke troupe and its community, helping preserve and share a tradition that represents connection, identity, and belonging.

Every bar of NAQSH carries a story — from the olive trees of Palestine, to the hands that craft the soap, to the people who keep culture alive.
